The Kanata Food Cupboard wishes to express its thanks to the Kanata community for its support in response to a serious drop in our food donations.
The present lowered food inventories of The Kanata Food Cupboard represent the effects of the serious downturn in the local economy and an attendant growth in the demands on the Kanata social support system.
The Kanata Food Cupboard will continue to support our clients in a manner unmatched by other support facilities. By operating as an independent agency the Kanata Food Cupboard has, over the last quarter century, been enabled to support our community, as well as other social support agencies elsewhere in the greater Ottawa community.
With the continued support of the residents of Kanata, we shall continue to ensure that those most affected by the economic downturn shall receive appropriate support.
